HELPFUL INFORMATION

Frequently asked questions

From choosing a programme to preparing for your stay, find answers to common questions from students and families.

What ages are eligible?

The programmes listed on our website include options for students aged 10–18. Each programme has its own age range and entry requirements, so availability depends on the student's age, chosen subject and destination. Our team can help you find an appropriate option. Age eligibility for London and the USA will be confirmed when you enquire.

Which programme is right for me?

Start with your age, the subjects you enjoy and what you would like to gain from your summer. Our team can help you compare programme content, destinations and entry requirements so you can make an informed choice.

Where will students stay?

Accommodation arrangements vary by programme. We will confirm the residential setting, room type and meal arrangements for your chosen option before you book.

What is included?

Teaching, accommodation, meals, activities and excursions vary by programme. Ask our team for a full list of inclusions and any additional costs for your chosen option before booking.

What level of English is needed?

English-language requirements vary by programme. Academic courses may require a different level from English language courses. Our team can help you check the requirements for your chosen programme before you apply.

When can I join?

The listed 2027 start dates are 4 July, 18 July and 1 August for Oxford; 4 and 18 July for Cambridge; and 11, 18 and 25 July and 1 August for Marlborough. Not every programme runs on every date. London and USA dates are available on enquiry. All dates and places are subject to confirmation.

How long are the programmes?

Duration depends on the programme. Oxford and Cambridge options include two-week programmes and some 13-day courses. Marlborough offers options lasting one to four weeks. Our team will confirm the duration of your chosen course, including the arrival and departure dates.

How are students supported and kept safe?

Student welfare is supported through experienced programme leaders, residential staff available around the clock, safeguarding procedures and appropriately checked staff. Age-appropriate accommodation, curfews and sign-in and sign-out arrangements help provide a structured environment. Families receive campus and emergency contact details, and students are encouraged to keep in touch with home. Please tell us about medical conditions, learning differences or additional support needs in advance. The arrangements for your chosen programme and destination will be confirmed before booking.
